One player City would take from their European rivals

It’s a common belief that not too many people get excited when an international break comes around. It’s not been particularly fruitful for Manchester City fans when you look at the injuries suffered in recent times.

So we’ve decided to kill some time but doing something hypothetical – looking at City’s Champions League rivals and identifying one player from each of the current quarter finalists who would be of use to City.

Of course, there is a deep pool of quality in the Champions League quarter finals, namely in the Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG squads. But there are also players at the likes of Wolfsburg and Benfica who could potentially add something at City.

So here at Read Man City, we’ve assembled a bit of a 7-a-side team made up of players who would be shrewd additions for Manchester City.
