Manchester City return to the Etihad on Tuesday night for a quarter-final clash with championship side Hull City. Having beaten Southampton with a fair amount of ease on Saturday the game is likely to produce a weaker XI than the one fielded against Ronald Koeman’s side. However, Hull managed to dispose of Premier League opposition and current ‘form team’ in the Premier League, Leicester City, in the last round – so City will have to be wary of the threat they pose. Steve Bruce’s men are also enjoying life in the Championship and lie fourth.
