# Exclusive: Kevin De Bruyne chat with Raphael Honigstein

We’ve had a number of high-quality interviews on the site in the last few months and I’m pleased to have landed one more to add to the collection.

[Raphael Honigstein](https://twitter.com/honigstein) is the Guardian’s German Football correspondent and is the go-to guy for all-things German Football for Talksport. He also appears as a pundit for BT Sport on their European Football coverage, as well as contributing to the likes of ESPN.

Finally, he has published two books; one on German Football and another on a German’s view of the English game.

With [Kevin De Bruyne becoming City’s record signing and signing from Wolfsburg](https://readmancity.com/2015/08/30/city-sign-kevin-de-bruyne/), we deemed there to be no better man to chat to and get the complete lowdown on City’s new man.

RMC’s Josh Lawless chats to Rafa about all-things De Bruyne, from his previous stint in the Premier League to his professionalism in such a long-winded transfer. He also gives us great insight into De Bruyne’s style of play and just exactly how he will fit into a City side who have already began the season in irresistible form.

I hope you enjoy this interview and encourage you to share any feedback by tweeting us @ReadManCity.
