We’ve had a number of high-quality interviews on the site in the last few months and I’m pleased to have landed one more to add to the collection.
Raphael Honigstein is the Guardian’s German Football correspondent and is the go-to guy for all-things German Football for Talksport. He also appears as a pundit for BT Sport on their European Football coverage, as well as contributing to the likes of ESPN.
Finally, he has published two books; one on German Football and another on a German’s view of the English game.
With Kevin De Bruyne becoming City’s record signing and signing from Wolfsburg, we deemed there to be no better man to chat to and get the complete lowdown on City’s new man.

RMC’s Josh Lawless chats to Rafa about all-things De Bruyne, from his previous stint in the Premier League to his professionalism in such a long-winded transfer. He also gives us great insight into De Bruyne’s style of play and just exactly how he will fit into a City side who have already began the season in irresistible form.
I hope you enjoy this interview and encourage you to share any feedback by tweeting us @ReadManCity.
