Man City show interest in £80m-rated Everton attacker Iliman Ndiaye

City are showing interest in Iliman Ndiaye as Enzo Maresca considers whether to add another attacker before the transfer window closes.

TalkSPORT reporter Alex Crook says City are interested in the Everton forward, who is valued at around £80m by his club.

Arsenal are also reported to have considered Ndiaye, although their dream target remains former City striker Julian Alvarez.

There is no indication yet that City have made a bid.

City take another look at Ndiaye

Ndiaye’s name has surfaced on City’s radar before, with reports earlier in August claiming enquiries had been made over his situation at Everton.

That interest now appears to remain alive as the window enters its final days.

The 26-year-old would give Maresca another option across the forward line. Ndiaye has operated centrally and from the left during his time in England, while his ability to carry the ball and beat opponents gives him a different profile to some of City’s existing attackers.

The issue is likely to be Everton’s position.

Ndiaye has four years remaining on the contract he signed after arriving from Marseille in 2024 and has become a major figure in David Moyes’ side.

An £80m valuation would also make him a considerable investment, particularly this late in the window.

For now, Crook’s update amounts to interest rather than an indication that a transfer is close.

But after changes to City’s attacking options this summer, Ndiaye is another name to keep in mind before the deadline.
