Man City agree Omar Marmoush Tottenham deal worth up to €70m

City have reached a full agreement with Tottenham over Omar Marmoush in a deal potentially worth €70million, according to Sky Sport Germany.

The Egypt international is set to join Spurs initially on loan, with an obligation to buy for around €58m.

Sky Germany reports that another €12m could be payable in bonuses, with €6m of those add-ons described as guaranteed.

Marmoush is also reported to be undergoing his medical ahead of completing the move.

He is expected to sign a contract until 2030, with Tottenham holding an option for a further year.

Marmoush set to follow Sávinho to Spurs

The latest development comes after Sky Germany reported on Sunday that Marmoush had agreed terms with Tottenham but that negotiations between the clubs were continuing.

At that stage, there was no final agreement and the structure of the transfer had yet to be settled.

That now appears to have changed.

Marmoush is set to become the second City attacker to move to Tottenham this week after Sávio completed an initial £75m transfer on Tuesday. A further £10m could be payable in add-ons.

City signed Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 on a contract until 2029.

Sky Germany also reports that Frankfurt will not receive a sell-on payment from the Tottenham deal.

The transfer is not yet official, but the reported agreement leaves Marmoush close to becoming the latest player to leave Enzo Maresca‘s squad this summer.
