Chelsea have placed a £100m valuation on Pedro Neto, with City among the clubs showing interest, sources have confirmed to TEAMtalk’s Graeme Bailey.
Al-Hilal and Tottenham are also credited with interest in the Portugal winger, though Chelsea are not believed to be actively looking to sell and are yet to receive a formal bid from any of the three.
The figure represents a huge return on the roughly £54m Chelsea paid Wolves for Neto in 2024.
The valuation comes amid conflicting reports over City’s exact position — some accounts in the last 24 hours suggested City had already stepped back from the race over Chelsea’s asking price, with Al-Hilal viewed as favourites for Neto’s signature and City instead turning attention to a potential Savinho departure.
TEAMtalk’s report suggests City’s interest remains live regardless.
Neto has featured heavily in pre-season since returning from his World Cup break with Portugal, starting all five of their games at the tournament before their last-16 exit.
Whether Xabi Alonso’s Chelsea can be moved off their asking price remains to be seen, with the winger valued as a key piece of their attack under the new head coach.
