Manchester City will soon be taking on Chelsea in the FA Cup final, and he is unlikely to make any surprising decisions when it comes to his team.

The FA Cup final is almost upon us, as Manchester City looked to record their second domestic triumph at Wembley this season.

City have already won the Carabao Cup, and making a last-gasp attempt to secure the Premier League title will also be on Pep Guardiola’s mind.

For now though, the manager’s focus is on setting his team up for success against a Chelsea side who have not been at their best.

How to watch Chelsea vs Man City

Score prediction

Man City are the most in-form team in the Premier League when looking at every domestic competition.

They thrashed Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, destroyed Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals and beat Arsenal in the Premier League and a cup final.

Drawing 3-3 with Everton is City’s only poor result since March, but the London club’s story is very different.

Chelsea have been struggling for a while now, and their only recent wins have come in the FA Cup, most recently against Leeds United.

Still, cup finals are never easy, and the Blues will strive to be at their very best, so this one should be a closely contested tie.

However, Jeremy Doku is in frightening form and Erling Haaland cannot stop scoring, so this should be a victory for the Citizens.

Predicted Man City lineup

Guardiola will surely not be messing about in the FA Cup final, as he knows just how important a win would be for Man City.

Some players were rested against Crystal Palace, which hints that the manager is going to make this fixture a priority, despite a clash with Bournemouth coming up on Tuesday.

Erling Haaland will be back to lead the line, and while Phil Foden was brilliant against Crystal Palace, he may have to settle for a spot on the bench.

Rodri will be brought back into the starting lineup to play alongside Bernardo Silva, provided he has recovered from his injury.

In defence, Abdukodir Khusanov and Marc Guehi will be tasked with stopping Joao Pedro, while Gianluigi Donnarumma could be handed his first FA Cup start of the season.

Predicted Man City lineup: Donnarumma, Nunes, Khusanov, Guehi, O’Reilly, Rodri, Silva, Semenyo, Cherki, Haaland, Doku

As for Chelsea, Cole Palmer will start against his former club, and they will look to Enzo Fernandez for inspiration and rhythm.

Predicted Chelsea lineup: Sanchez, James, Chalobah, Colwill, Cucurella, Lavia, Caicedo, Palmer, Fernandez, Neto, Pedro
