Real Madrid midfielder Isco has emerged as a new transfer target of Manchester City after the club missed out on Riyad Mahrez in the January window, according by the Express.
City boss Pep Guardiola made a late move for Mahrez last month following some injuries to first team regulars but Leicester City refused to lower their asking price.
Reports now suggest that the Cityzens have now switched their attention to Real Madrid maestro Isco, and this is not the first time that City have gone in for the player.
The Spanish midfielder had a fine season at Madrid last season scoring 10 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions, establishing himself as a top player on Los Blancos’ books.
He even kept Gareth Bale on the bench for large portions of the season, as Madrid won the La Liga title.
This season however, Isco hasn’t found the same level of success, and due to his lack of form, Madrid are believed to now be open to allowing the player to leave if the right offer comes in.
