Gianluigi Donnarumma has emerged as one of the brightest footballing talents in the whole of the continent in the last year, and is arguably the most promising goalkeeper around.
Seen as the heir to Gianluigi Buffon’s throne as the best goalkeeper in Italy, Donnarumma has earned a reputation out in Serie A and has established himself as AC Milan’s first choice shot stopper.
However, he is a man high in demand and the Italian giants will need to do all they can to keep hold of their prized asset this summer.
Many clubs are in need of a new goalkeeper ahead of next season, and Manchester City are no different.
Now, the Daily Mail are claiming that Pep Guardiola is keen to bring Donnarumma to City this summer and the Sky Blues are leading the race to bring him to the club.
Manchester United are also claimed to be keen on a move for the promising youngster, but City are especially keen as they look to find a solution to their long-term goalkeeping issue.
