According to RMC Sport, as cited by French news outlet GFFN, Manchester City have joined Chelsea and Manchester United in enquiring for AS Monaco youngster Kylian Mbappe.

All three clubs have contacted the player’s entourage about a potential move in the summer. Mbappe has become a massive prospect after scoring 22 goals in 36 appearances for Monaco this season.

The 18-year-old is crucial to Monaco’s current progression in the Champions League. He scored two goals over both legs in the last 16 against City, which helped knock Pep Guardiola’s side out of the competition. He also helped Monaco progress to the Champions League semi-finals after a 6-3 aggregate win against Borussia Dortmund.

Mbappe has drawn comparisons to a certain Thierry Henry, and made his first-team debut at just 16-years-old, which broke the record previously held by Henry. The young Frenchman made his international debut for France in March and became the second youngest player to ever do so.
