Another week passes in this summer’s transfer window and, unsurprisingly, Manchester City have been involved in a number of rumours – involving players joining and leaving the club.
Pep Guardiola has been linked with almost every player under the sun since his arrival as Manchester City manager, but what do the Sky Blues faithful think about each rumour?
Every transfer rumour that there is, we leave a poll at the bottom of the page for the fans to vote on whether they want said transfer to happen or not. Then, at the end of each week, we will do a round-up of the results.
This week’s edition features topics such as Aleksandar Kolarov’s future, Ruben Sobrino’s loan move to Deportivo Alaves, and the future of current City number one Joe Hart.
City should sell Kolarov
89% of City fans believe that Kolarov should be offloaded this summer.
The Serbian struggled for consistency last season and was criticised for continually exposed by the opposition.
Fans wants Stones and Sane
When offered Stones, Sane or both, the Sky Blues fans voting massively in favour of the latter. Just 3% opted for Stones alone, while 11% went for Sane without Stones. That left a whopping 86% wanting both to move to the Etihad this summer.
Supporters happy about Sobrino loan
A mere 8% of City fans were unhappy that Spanish striker Ruben Sobrino was sent out on loan to Deportivo Alaves.
The 24-year-old was plagued by injuries last term, limiting him to playing time on loan at Girona.
No decision on Toure
Amazingly, the fans were split 50/50 on whether the club should sell Yaya Toure or not.
The Ivorian has been heavily linked with a move away this summer but appears to be staying put.
Support shown for Hart
Joe Hart beat Barcelona shot-stopper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and PSV’s Jeroen Zoet to the fans’ choice for who should be the number one under Guardiola.
While the Englishman fell just short of winning a majority vote he still has the backing of 49% of City fans, compared to 39% for Ter Stegen and just 12% for Zoet.
