In a season where performances have not been of the highest standard, Manchester City have still managed to put on some outstanding displays.
The season started with the Sky Blues looking unbeatable until a dramatic slump in form saw them limp to a below-par fourth-place finish in the Premier League.
With the odd one-off performance in between a long list of poor results, which one was your favourite of the season? Find out what you (the fans) voted for in the following slideshow.
P.S. The results for this duel are calculated by the percentage of duels won, so do not expect them to add up to 100%.
5th - Man City 6-1 Newcastle (45%)
A fantastic five from Sergio Aguero and an added touch of class from Kevin De Bruyne secured an emphatic 6-1 victory over Steve McClaren’s unorganised Newcastle side.
One of the few times at home this season where City showed their true class.
4th - Chelsea 0-3 Man City (48%)
City edged closer to securing a place in next season’s Champions League with a counter-attacking away performance against the 2014/15 champions.
Sergio Aguero’s second goal made the shortlist for the Goal of the Season award on a day where the Argentine hit a hattrick.
3rd - Man City 3-0 Chelsea (50%)
Same scoreline against the same team, but a more attacking display. The home advantage gave City the confidence to tear Chelsea apart in a match which saw the hosts become the favourites for the 2015/16 Premier League title.
2nd - Man City 1-0 PSG (52%)
The result that cemented City’s place in their first ever Champions League semi-final.
The electric atmosphere made it one of the most memorable European nights of City’s history and De Bruyne’s goal topped a good debut season off for him.
1st - Sevilla 1-3 Man City (74%)
The perfect European away performance and it’s won a massive 74% of the duels.
A quick start from City broke down Sevilla’s usually-resilient defence and confirmed City’s place in the last 16 of Europe’s elite competition for the third consecutive season.
