Italian veteran Gianluigi Buffon has labelled Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart as ‘one of the top three goalkeepers in the world’.
The Premier League has a lot of top-class goalkeepers, but I have been watching Joe for many years and he has just kept on getting better and better. For me he is now one of the top three goalkeepers in the world.
Buffon, who recently broke the Serie A record for longest time spent without conceding a goal (974 minutes), made the comments when naming his Premier League XI.
Hart was not the only Sky Blues player that made the team, with skipper Vincent Kompany, Pablo Zabaleta, David Silva and Sergio Aguero joining the England international in the prestigious team.
The Juventus shotstopper named Kompany as the ‘best defender in England’ as well as calling David Silva a game-changer.
Probably the best defender in England and Manchester City have missed him. To get him back at this stage of the season is so important for them.
A similar player to Ozil, but both deserve their spot, for the creativity and intelligence, they can change games.
