Sergio Aguero plans to finish career with City
Sergio Aguero plans to finish his career at Manchester City, according to ESPN.
The City talisman is set to extend his current deal to 2020 but it is now thought that that Aguero plans to remain at the Etihad for the remainder of his career as he looks to create history with the club.
Aguero, already a Premier League winner on two occasions, has been rumoured to be keen on ending his career at boyhood club Independente.
And he also has regular links with moves to Spanish Giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.
However, ESPN claim sources at City believe the 27-year old has a strong connection with the club and the fans – and that will be enough to see him finish his career in Manchester.
Aguero signed for City in 2011, making a £38m move from Atletico Madrid. In his debut season with the club, he scored the all-important goal that clinched the club’s first league title in 44 years.
He has since played a key role in the double trophy success in 2013/14 and will undoubtedly be a huge part of Pep Guardiola’s plans at the club.
