Manchester City have confirmed that star striker Sergio Aguero will not be fit enough for the Champions League clash with Juventus following an injury picked up in the 0-1 win at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Despite the 27-year-old being ruled out of the clash at the Etihad Stadium, City, who are top of the Premier League table, will have winger Raheem Sterling back fit following his absence at the weekend. David Silva is also available after recovering from an ankle injury.
Ex-Atletico Madrid striker Aguero has been hit with lengthy spells on the sidelines in recent times, including knee ligament damage in December which kept him out for a month.
The Argentine international has featured five times this season, scoring one goal which came in the 3-0 win over Chelsea back in August.
After the Champions League clash with the Serie A champions, City host West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday in a 17:30 kick-off.
Speaking ahead of the game, Manuel Pellegrini said:
Sergio [Aguero] is not fit.
I hope he will be OK for the weekend but we must wait to see the result of the scans.
